Are selection tests and interviews ever objective?
Or are they really just based on personal prejudice?
One of my first experiments with observational film-making,
I made this film during my time as a postgraduate student at
the National Film and Television School.
Two school leavers endure a rigorous week-long selection course
on a remote, windswept Scottish island. Incisive editing dramatically
reveals why one candidate is judged successful whilst the other
fails. |
